Howdens kitchens have shutdown their Trustpilot reviews so assume their 4+ Trustpilot rating advertised on their website no longer stands!!! Trustpilot you need to sort that out?!! Issue still on going will look to resolve in the small claims counts! Looking at other reviews we are not alone. Howdens Kitchens who sold the appliance have washed their hands so would also advise against this once prestigious company but they did offer to pay half towards a replacement meaning my mother would pay £750 in total for a basic microwave!! If I give 0 stars for this review I would. The price of call out and labour would out weight replacement which also shows poor business acumen. 3 engineer’s later and they are still refusing to replace. My mother bought a £500 Microwave as part of a new kitchen in June it’s now the end of October and it has never worked from day of install. Advise against purchasing any AEG product. I also got sent an email with a screenshot of the engineers phone 'proving' that he called me - for 5 seconds at the first minute of my time slot. I then called AEG - to cut a long story short it was a 57 minute call which resulted in me getting a date rebooked. I called another number in Halifax which diverted to Newcastle, again the automated system led me down a dead-end. I then called the engineer's mobile, it went straight to voice message. I called Pacifica in Newcastle and their automated system told me which option to select, when I did the line went dead. I retrieved a call to my voicemail from Pacifica which was listened to within 5 minutes saying engineer called twice and that he could not find house. We had engineer booked to service drier, AEG appointed Pacifica.
